Yoga Mala: 108 Sun Salutations for the Winter Solstice

On December 18th, join us at Karma Cologne for a sacred yoga mala, where we will flow through 108 sun salutations in devotion to the winter solstice and the return of the sun. As we move with the breath, we honor the shifting seasons, welcoming the light as it begins to emerge from the darkest night of the year.

With each breath, each movement, we offer our hearts in devotion—a moving meditation that embodies renewal, connection, and transformation. The number 108 holds ancient significance, and through this powerful practice, we’ll stoke the inner flame, igniting our own light and celebrating the cyclical rhythms of life.

This practice is a space for devotion, where our movements reflect our reverence for the sun, the earth, and the wisdom within. Together, we’ll weave an energetic field of unity and grace, saluting the sun and the return of its warmth and light.
