Yoga postures help us to live longer and to be healthier while we live longer. But breathwork also helps us to improve how and why we live, the quality of our life. Breath penetrates, breath invigorates, and breath heals. We all know instinctively that our emotions are interrelated with our breath. When we have extreme physical pain, unconsciously, without any training, we start trying to regulate by breathing deeply and steadily because we subconsciously know that it helps manage pain. We also seem to know that it can help us to deal with emotions such as fear, sorrow, and rage. So, the body is affected by the emotions, and the emotions are affected by the body.

TOTAL RELAXATION - MAX STROM'S RENOWNED REST & RENEWAL
Be transported back to a time when relaxation was your natural state, unburdened by the worries, responsibilities, and noise of daily life. Guided by Max’s expertly crafted gentle movement sequence, you will rediscover the art of deep, restful repose. In the second half of the workshop we will focus on floor postures and breathing patterns to release the mind and body from long-held stress and tension that impedes our happiness and our ability to sleep. This special event will help you rest like you did long ago.

The voices of our intuition and wisdom are commonly drowned out by the noise in our mind. This noise is often caused by chaotic or congested emotions from stress, anxiety, and depression. With specific breathing patterns we can physically release the pent-up stress and emotions that we have held in our chests for far too long.
Simple techniques, accessible to everyone, with incredible results. The practices you will learn in this workshop take you to a calm and inspired state with new depths of insight.

Workshop Four: May 11th 2025 14:00 - 16:00
OPENING THE CHEST AND SHOULDERS - A NEW STATE OF ENERGY
Some of the negative side effects of using a computer are that we find ourselves with frozen shoulders, sore forearms, and injured wrists. This workshop targets these issues with a special sequence of postures that opens the chest and shoulders, as well as the entire body. Experience freedom from both physical and emotional tension. The special sequence of postures and breathing exercises brings the mind into stillness and the body into a new state of energy.
Especially beneficial for those of us who work behind a computer, however, everyone who uses a smartphone or is experiencing stress will benefit from this workshop.
This movement workshop is both challenging and very healing.
